Compatible With Dirt Devil Easy Lite Cyclonic Quick Vac

This is a filter kit for the Dirt Devil Easy Lite Cyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaners, Models UD20005, and UD20010.  The filter set includes both the foam washable filter, and the HEPA pleated cartridge filter, conveniently packaged together by Crucial Vacuum to save you time, and money.  

The foam filter should be washed every 30 days, and replaced after 6 months.  It is very important that it be completely air dried before reusing the filter in the vacuum.  The HEPA Filter should not be washed, and should also be replaced every 6 months to maintain peak performance on your Dirt Devil Easy Lite Cyclonic Bagless vacuum.  

The Foam Filter is Dirt Devil Part Number 1PY1106000 and the HEPA Filter Cartridge is Dirt Devil Type F43, or Part Number 2PY1105000.

Below is installation instructions to remove, and wash the foam filter and the HEPA filter from the Dirt Devil UD20005 Vacuum Cleaner Owners Manual:


Empty Dirt Container
Lift Dirt Container release button on top of the dirt container to remove dirt container

Hold dirt container over garbage can and press clean release dirt container button to empty. Make sure container buttom center opening is clear of debris. Snap dirt container bottom back into place after emptying.

Remove Filter Cartridge
Click the button on the base of the vacuum cleaner toward the outside edges to unlock the filter cartridge, then put away the filter cover.

lift the filter cartridge out of the base cleaner.


Remove Foam Filter
Remove the foam filter from the filter cartridge

Clean Pleated Filter
Tap the pleated filter on the inside of a garbage bin to remove excess dust and dirt from the filter. Replace the filter every 6 months.

Wash Pleated Filter
Hold the pleated filter upside down under running water to wash. Allow filter to dry for at least 24 hours before replacing in filter cartridge.

Wash Foam Filter
Hold the foam filter under running water to wash. Wring excess water out of filter. Allow filter to dry for at least 24 hours before replacing in filter cartridge.

Replace Foam Filter
Return Foam filter to filter cartridge

Replace Filter Cartridge
Return Filter cartridge to base of cleaner.

Click button back into place to lock filter cartridge in base of cleaner.

Clean The Air Director
To remove Air Director, rotate 1/4 turn clockwise.
